Three generations old and looking and little ragged but I love the memories that come with her, a doll cradle, a wagon, you name it, this little stool as done it all. Time for a new look....

I bought this old Diamond Blast sack about a year ago at a local thrift shop in Ohio while visiting my parents.

No need for a sewing machine just buttons, needle and thread.

I have thoughts of adding a gray ruffle around the bottom, but this will do for now.

Tami, you are so gifted, this is beautiful, I also like the candle in the old kettle, can I use that idea.... I just have to dig one of my old tea kettles up,that is if I can find it. I never throw anything away. Lol

So beautiful! I love the kettle with the candle too!
ReplyDeleteThat slipcover is wonderful just the way it is - but maybe a grey ruffle would be good too - square and pleated or gathered and frilly?
